MACFRUT Live: AKSUN always full of dynamism

 

 

 

AKSUN exports citrus fruits, cherries, black figs and pomegranates to Italy. For pomegranates, volumes have doubled this year. The company takes advantage of the windows left available in the schedule of local productions or supplies from other countries. For lemons, expeditions take place from mid-September to the end of October.

 

 

 

For the already finished season, the grapefruit registered -40% in volume this year but the price doubled thus increasing sales. For the current season, the proposed cherries have sizes of 24-26-28 mm. Then, the wonderful black figs from August until mid-October.

 

 

 

Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany and the United Kingdom represent large volumes for AKSUN, which sells directly to retail chains. Then the Far East and the Middle East. AKSUN also set up partnerships with South Africa, complementary because of off-season. Significant investment also with the new warehouse (24 000 m2 covered and 80 000 m2 total) which can store 3 times more volume.
