The founder of UNIVEG retakes control of the group

The Deprez family, with the current management, has partnered with a consortium of European and South African families to acquire 100% of UNIVEG group.

Hein Deprez will occupy the position of Executive Chairman of the group, Francis Kint will take the role of Chief Executive Officer and Koen Sticker that of Chief Financial Officer. Other key managerial positions remain unchanged.

During the announcement, Hein Deprez thanked the CEO and CFO Theo de Kool and Davide Bustreo for their achievements, adding: "The UNIVEG group remains faithful to its growth strategy that fits over the long term by continuing to improve the quality of its products for its customers and suppliers in Europe and around the world. "
