Heliae Agriculture invites to join its event to learn more about soil health
Heliae Agriculture, US cultivator of first-in-class soil microbial food, invites to join a two-day event of the webinar series “Rethinking Soil Productivity." The event will highlight the mission and efforts of the company in sustainable development and regenerative, as well as microbiome and soil health strategies.
Webinar series event is suitable for those who want to understand how sticky their soil is? Does it have the aggregates needed to defend itself from rain and erosion? Moreover, will it be able to hold the oxygen and water that the crop needs to flourish? Otherwise, fungi and bacteria can be the key to transforming soils from good enough to productive and active soils.
Extracellular Polymer Substances (EPS), the glues released during metabolic process and as exudates, hold soil particles together, forming aggregates, which create an improved soil structure. This an exciting process will be shared by Lindsey Vikars, Head of Agricultural Research at Heliae Agriculture, and other leadership from the Heliae Agriculture team.
2-day event kicks off on November 17th at 10:00 am CST with a conversation about the Rhizophagy Cycle with Dr. James White of Rutgers University. On the second day, November 18th, the opportunities of practical application for soil health practices will be discussed. After the main session, regional crop-specific breakout sessions will be offered.
