Agroponiente continues its development

Grupo AGROPONIENTE SA has sold 287.2 million kgs of fruits and vegetables last year.

Founded in 1987 by a group of wholesalers and exporters, AGROPONIENTE has grown constantly. The company has sold 287.2 million kilos of fruits and vegetables in 2012, of which 65% were for export.

These volumes consisted of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, zucchini, eggplant, Chinese cabbage, beans, melons and watermelons.

Agroponiente controls the whole process of planning, production, packaging and marketing of fruit and vegetables. Agroponiente became the first company in the sector in the province of Almeria.
