Promotional campaign that encourages shoppers to purchase more apples before Christmas

The Cosmic Crisp® apple has been inspiring shoppers since its early ship in November, with unique recipes, giveaways, decor ideas, partnerships with lifestyle experts, and more.

This year’s harvest is the largest to date for the brand, and its website now offers a product locator tool, enabling shoppers to find their favorite apple. As reported recently by Stemilt, a Cosmic Crisp® supplier, the brand could become one of the top 10 varieties this year.

The Cosmic Crisp® apple just participated in a weeklong event at an important retailer’s flagship store, bringing the theme created for editorial in Martha Stewart Living to life. Displays featured wooden crates full of Cosmic Crisp® apples and 2 Towns Ciderhouse Cosmic Crisp® Imperial Hard Cider wrapped in bows. A mantle adorned with a Cosmic Crisp® Sugared Apple Wreath, designed by lifestyle expert Kenneth Wingard, was a decor centerpiece near the main store entrance. 

In the bakery, a tree was decorated with Sparkling Cosmic Crisp® Apple Ornament Donuts that were created utilizing a recipe developed by the baker Gesine Bullock-Prado. 

All these encouraged shoppers to purchase products made with Cosmic Crisp® apples, and lifestyle content from its promotional campaign.

A giveaway launched on the brand's social media drew close to 13,500 entries and attracted another 13,000 consumers to a special Apple of Big Dreams holiday guide landing page. 

QR codes utilized in the latest issues of Better Homes & Gardens and Martha Stewart Living Magazines have collected 2.500 scans. The #cosmiccrisp

Classically bred and cultivated in Washington State, the Cosmic Crisp® is a cross of the Honeycrisp and Enterprise varieties. The juicy,  large, and red apple has a balanced flavor and firm texture. It is perfect for cooking, baking, snacking, and entertaining.
