A concentration of technology and innovation, the building also has a tropical demonstration greenhouse that adorns the facade.
With an ideal location, more efficient and cleaner technologies, continuous operation and increased capacity, Compagnie Fruitière has brought together under one roof all the conditions for its future development.
Located in the heart of Rungis, the new Compagnie Fruitère building covers 7,000 m². The building is a concentrate of technologies and logistics innovation, enabling the company to extend its ripening capacities to 20,000 tonnes of fruit with 6 double rooms and 3 single rooms dedicated to bananas, mangoes and avocados.
Benefiting from the latest technologies, the site has also increased the logistics performance of the company tenfold with a storage capacity of 1,500 fruit pallets at the service of its customers with continuous operation, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The site is the natural extension of Compangie Fruitière's commitment to sustainable development with operations guaranteeing one of the lowest carbon footprints in its sector. In the course of 2022, the huge roof of the building will be covered with 5,000m2 of photovoltaic panels providing a significant portion of the energy necessary for its operation.
Little more and real attraction: a tropical greenhouse demonstrating the profession of producer adorns the facade of the building.
