Slight Decrease of macadamia crop
Australia
Monday 12 March 2007
The 2007 Australian crop estimates are no where as good as the early expectations of 45,000 mt. Figures being quoted are between 30 and 35,000mt due mainly to lack of moisture and some insects damage in the northern NSW crops. This may stabilise the price after some heavy dting this season. There are still plenty of style 4's available and South Africa seems well sold.
