HAPAG-LLOYD has invested in reefer containers

Hapag-Lloyd, a leading maritime freight operators under controlled temperature, has made an important investment plan.

Hapag-Lloyd has ordered 6,000 refrigerated containers of 40 feet last generation or 12,000 TEUs. This investment comes after the order for the construction of five container ships of 10,500 TEUs, made last April.

The company, with these new ships and these new containers, hopes to take advantage of the increased demand for this type of transport. On East-West routes but especially on roads with South America.
