Visitors will vote and designate the most innovative product or solution among the 9 nominees in the running for this FLIA 2022.
FLIA (Fruit Logistica Innovation Award) is the fresh produce industry's most coveted award. As with each edition of Fruit Logistica, visitors will be able to vote during the first 2 days of the show, in Hall 20 Stand A-12, to designate the winner.
These 9 nominees who were chosen by a jury of experts from all sectors of the value chain represent the most innovative products, services and technical solutions introduced to the market last year. On April 5 and 6, visitors will be able to discover these innovations in a dedicated space in Hall 20 Stand A-12 and will be able to vote for the innovation they prefer.
„Amela Tomato“, Grenade La Palma, S.Coop.And., Spain - Hall 18, C-01
The Amela tomato is an innovative variety developed in Japan. By minimizing irrigation, sugars and acids can be concentrated. High Brix values and high levels for nutrients and amino acids. Available in sizes between 50-140g.
„Amoresco®“, HM.CLAUSE SAS, France - Hall 11.2, B-01
A unique romanesco cauliflower, rich in beta-carotene, orange in color. It retains its color even after cooking and is available fresh from November to February; it is also excellent for the frozen market.
„Flying Autonomous Robots (FARs)™", Tevel Advanced Technologies Ltd, Israel - Hall 5.1, B-03
Autonomous robots, with 6 degrees of orientation freedom, that can harvest many different fruits, reducing the need for manual picking. Harvest at optimum stage of maturity. Based on artificial intelligence and computer vision.

The Genap Energy Cover is a unique combination of technologies. They not only form a floating cover for irrigation ponds, providing protection against the formation of algae. Their integrated solar panels also generate energy in an environmentally friendly way.
„iStem™“, Syngenta Seeds BV, Netherlands - Hall 1.2, D-16
This unique variety of stem cauliflower can be perfectly portioned and eaten raw or cooked whole. The stem reaches 13 cm and develops another smaller stem with a number of leaves. The plant is very high in fiber and the stem is edible with a sweet, nutty taste.

Red Crush® is the 1st totally red lettuce, intensely colored from the outside to the heart. Available in several varieties: Little Gem with crunchy leaves, Mini Cos with fine and delicate foliage with a slightly sweet taste, Multileaf with serrated leaves.
„Schur®Star Eat-Grow-Repeat Bag“, Schur Star Systems GmbH, Germany - Hall 9, C-07
Pea plants in organic hemp substrate “in the bag”. After removing the top part of the bag, the bottom forms the pot for the plant. After the 1st harvest, the bag only needs light, water and a little attention, to continue growing with even more peas to pick - simple, healthy and delicious!
