Fresh Del Monte reports solid growth in Q2

According to a press release, Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc., one of the world's largest producers and marketers of fresh fruit and vegetables, would have recorded strong financial results for the second quarter ended June 28, 2002. The company reported a 60% increase in net income to USD 66,5 million and net sales increased to USD 567,2 million.
