TopControl's weighing solutions enable companies to work more efficiently and faster
Elbe-Obst, German production and distribution company, whose flagship product is the apple, has been a TopControl customer for many years and relies on Italian company as on the one of the leading suppliers of electronic automation in food industry for the automation of its packaging processes.
German company was the first to install the automatic checkweigher CWT1000 at its production site, which was launched on the market a few months ago.
Сheckweigher is an automated and efficient weight control solution for small baskets of fruit, vegetables, cheese and meat. This machine checks the weight of the pre-filled small packages before closing the punnet. In case when the punnet weight is outside the weight limits (overweight or underweight), the CWT1000 provides automatic packaging separation using a turnout system. Then out-of-tolerance packages are weighed on a second scale to the previously defined target weight and reintroduced into the packaging process. Controlling the weight of the defined fill quantities is precise, fast and cost saving - up to 60 packages per minute. Ergonomically integrated into the packaging line, the CWT1000 guarantees optimized packaging process and highly accurate weighing results, while minimizing waste and maximizing productivity. Thanks to the high accuracy of the scales and the automatic control of the packages weight, a noticeable decrease in costs and an increase in profits are achieved.
To provide an accurate overview of the entire process, the machine can be integrated into TopControl StatisticsWeights or FruitManager software, which provides an overview of production data, production analysis and productivity evaluation.
The feedback from Elbe-Obst on the integration of the new CWT1000 into their packaging line is more than satisfactory. The company has been working with this machine for a month now and is more than happy with the results. Due to the excellent results achieved, they decided to order a second unit.
