New crop forecast for oranges, further behind

Final production is now forecast at 72.4 million cartons (90 lb = 40.8 kg).
For the Florida orange crop, USDA is forecasting 72.4 million cartons (90 lb = 40.8 kg), down by 5% from the previous month's forecast. Total, production for non-Valencia oranges is finalized at 30.4 million boxes and for Valencia oranges the forecast is 42 million boxes (-9%).
For grapefruit the forecast is 4.58 million boxes (-7%) and for mandarins (tangerine, tangelo) a 5% increase is expected with 1 million boxes.
