The SIVAL's management has decided to reschedule the show
According to Press Release, Christophe Béchu, Maire of Angers, and Bruno Dupont, President of the SIVAL have decided that SIVAL 2021 show has now been forced to abandon the prospect of welcoming visitors and exhibitors in January 2021 and that it should be postponed until 2022. The reason is the current unprecedented health situation with the constraints it creates.
SIVAL is the international plant production show in Angers, France that presents a comprehensive offer of equipment and services for all plant productions: vegetable crops, seeds, horticulture, viticulture, arboriculture, medicinal and aromatic plants, cider and others.
Bruno Dupont, President of the SIVAL commented that it is hard to imagine January without the SIVAL, an event that provides a unique opportunity for discussion and business for all sector professionals. "The pandemic has forced us to make the decision to postpone the show, and even without it, we are committed to being present online in order to provide the opportunity for expression and diffusion throughout the vegetable production sector," he added.
The teams of Destination Angers (the different departments of the Angers Loire Métropole tourist office with a mission to develop tourism in Angers) are already working on a series of online meetings throughout the year, which will allow members to use the common threads that the SIVAL provides, it's DNA, a catalyst for innovation, the challenges and trends facing the vegetable production sector.
The doors of the show for sector’s members are scheduled to open from the 11th to 13th January 2022 at the Parc des Expositions in Angers, France.
