UAE emerges as key destination for Pakistan’s mango exports

A recent report from the Ministry of Commerce highlights the United Arab Emirates as the leading destination for mango exports from Pakistan. Over a period of five years, the UAE has purchased mangoes valued at $159.74 million, securing its position as the primary market for this fruit.
Other significant destinations for Pakistani mangoes include the United Kingdom, which imported $131.96 million worth of mangoes, and Kazakhstan, with imports valued at $93.86 million. Oman, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia have also contributed to the demand, with imports totaling $39.88 million, $35.98 million, and $29.61 million respectively.
In total, Pakistan has exported mangoes valued at $632.003 million over the last five years. Additionally, the country’s citrus exports have reached $30.9 million in the current fiscal year.
