Korean fresh product imports to increase

Imports of fresh fruit and vegetables to Korea are expected to show double digit growth in 2005. Estimates show a 10 percent increase in fresh vegetables imports and a 14 percent increase in fresh fruit imports. The value of vegetable imports is around US$100 million, while fruit is just US$390,000.
