Russia
Monday 26 February 2007
Once more mandarins became a trade leader among citruses. The demand exceeded the offer and prices for Nour remained on level 1,66 - 1,70 $/kg. Following coming to an end of the season Moroccan Nours prices for other varieties went up as well. For instance, Israeli Suntinos were offered at 1,36 $/kg whereas price growth for Minneolas was limited by damaged arrivals and they remained stable - about 1,00 $/kg in Novorossijsk. Kinnow from Pakistan moved to 1,10 $/kg but Moscow and Saint-Petersburg are not facing the shortage of this variety anymore.
