Russian Phytosanitary Service has banned fruits import from Moldova
Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance has banned import of certain fruits from Moldova. List of forbidden fruits includes apples, pears, apricots, cherries, sweet cherries and plums. This decision was triggered by numerous violations of export standards by Moldavian side. According to the market research specialists, ban of fruits import from Moldova will lead to remarkable price drop for these fruits on Russian market.
