It has been announced that Russia has lifted its ban on Pakistani mangoes and kinnow mandarins following a facility inspection.
Russia has temporarily lifted its ban on Pakistani kinnow mandarins and mangoes following a visit to packhouses and farms in Islamabad by officials from Russian Federal Veterinarian and Phytosanitary Control.
Delegates were satisfied that international standards and practices were being met across the sites that they visited.
A spokesman for the party confirmed to the media that the ban, in place since 19 March following the discovery of an insect in a rice shipment, had been lifted.
