According Ecodis, the Belgian company NDS would develop a new concept : the self-acting food store. Present in Belgium with 90 units, these stores are also set up in the Netherlands (12), Portugal (10), Austria (5), Germany (3) and Spain (1). The United Kingdom and Italy should follow. Casino, the French retailer, may open 100 self-acting stores under the banner 'Casino 24'.
