The UNPT elected its new president

The UNPT (National Union of Producers of potatoes) has electedthe third president of its history (after Philippe and Patrick Dequidt Trillon): Arnaud Delacour.

Arnaud Delacour was elected President of the UNPT on March 1. 52 yers old, Agriculture Engineer, holds a Master of Business Administration and a Masters in Management of the food chain (ESSEC). He manages a polyculture farm, in the form of companies, 301 hectares near Soissons in the department of Aisne, on which it produces potatoes for industrial chips and fries, and the starch industry.

Strongly involved in the potato industry, Arnaud Delacour was a member of the Office of UNPT for several years. Former President of the ITPT (Technical Institute of Potato), member of the Scientific Board of ARVALIS - Plant Institute and the Steering Committee of GIPT (Groupement Interprofessionnel for the valuation of the Potato). He was reappointed as President of Working Group of Potato of COPA-COGECA (organization representing producers and cooperatives in the level of European Union) on January 10.
