A range of CIV apples finalist to the FL Innovation Award

The series of apples developed by the CIV will be the only product to represent Italy for the Fruit Logistica Innovation Award 2011.
Introduced during the last edition of Interpoma, the new series of apples developed by the CIV (Consorzio Italiano Vivaisti) will compete for the Fruit Logistica Innovation Award 2011.
The Sweet Resistants series with the apples Gaia, Gemini, Renoir, Fujion and Smeralda offers numerous advantages with a superb organoleptic qualities which correspond to current market requirements in terms of taste.
Its advantages :
- Easy to develop by producers
- Intrinsic resistance to scab.
- Environmentally friendly, and require reduced energy consumption and expenditures.
The full serie will be introduced at Fruit Logistica Hall 4.2 Stand C03 and also in the area reserved for finalists between halls 20 and 21.
