Sweet Potato Week in Europe

American sweet potato in the spotlight in Germany, Belgium, France , the Netherlands and Poland for a "Week" , until March 24 , 2016.

" International Sweet Potato Week" is an initiative of 2 Americans organizations (North Carolina Sweet Potato Commission , American Sweet Potato Marketing Institute) to encourage consumers and restaurant chefs to cook and use sweet potatoes.

Numerous activities (supermarkets, grocery stores ... ) also to enjoy and thus boost purchasing the product that can be consumed at any time of the day , from breakfast to dessert.

American sweet potato is becoming more popular in Europe . Last year , the figure increased by 35 % since the previous year.
