Portugal is the partner country of Fruit Logistica 2015

Each year the Fruit Logistica celebrates a country for the next edition Portugal will be the partner country of the fair.

Portugal has a long tradition of Commerce has a strong agriculture (production estimated at 2.6 billion euros) and high export (almost 1 billion euros ). Its location is ideal for transport by sea with excellent connections to the rest of Europe, to South and West Africa America.

Over the last 3 years the volume of exports increased by 26% from € 780 million in 2010 to € 983 million in 2013 (Portugal Fresh figures , the professional association of exporters of Fruits & Vegetables ).

For Fruit Logistica 2015, Portugal announced a record presence of companies that occupy a spot of almost 600 m2.
