In just 10 months Egypt exceeds the volume exported last year

In 2019 Egyptian exports of agricultural products had reached 5.4 million tons then in 2020, due to the pandemic, the exported volume reached 4.8 million tons. This year in just 10 months, Egypt exported 5 million tonnes.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Egypt's agricultural exports reached 5 million tonnes over the period from January 1 to October 27, 2021. This represents an increase of 600,000 tonnes compared to last year.
At the top of the export ranking: citrus fruits with 1.87 million tonnes, potatoes with 621,000 tonnes, onions with 239,700 tonnes and grapes with 143,300 tonnes.
Then sweet potatoes (80,440 tonnes), pomegranate (62,400 tonnes), mango (29,700 tonnes), beans (21,900 tonnes), strawberries (19,340 tonnes), garlic (18,400 tonnes) , guava (11,500 tonnes), watermelon (8,500 tonnes) and peppers (7,001 tonnes).
