An outcome who can become positive for the exports of apples

The Apple embargo is one of the lengthiest running trade disagreements in history.

Since a long period, New Zealand has been banned from exporting apples to Australia. The reason behind the embargo is the claim that these apples may infect Australian orchards with the fire blight disease.

The real reason is not these trivial excuses but brute force politics.

Even after presenting scientific evidence that disproved this, the result was an Australian-inspired import regime. This made it financially impractical for the New Zealanders to sell their apples across the Tasman.

This issue was taken to the World Trade Organization to be resolved. According to reports, it has been revealed that an interim report obtained by the Government reveals that New Zealand's arguments have been accepted. The final report is slated to be issued by mid-year.
