Raspberries campaign rather satisfactory

Freshuelva announced an increase in production and export of raspberries this season.

Freshuelva , organization of producers in the Huelva region , announced that raspberry production totaled 14,480 tons. An increase of + 20 % compared to the previous season. During the 1st quarter exports increased by 35 % and then slowed in May and early June. This period saw the start of local production at two major customers ( UK, Germany).

On average the price of the fruit fell by 5 %, but the total turnover rose by 15.7% , totaling 90.3 million euros.
