Rieu Neuf fruit on TV

TV channel France 2 has shown Rieu Neuf (84) fruits. Entitled "Le Temps des Cerises", the sequence presented by David Martin went on the "C" show  presented by Sophie Davant. It included a brief history of cherries, including the fact that Queen Victoria was crazy about cherries and had them sent from the Luberon.

The film was shot at "Les Fruits du Rieu Neuf" in St Saturnin les Avignon (84). As producer and shipper of Rieu Neuf Fruits,  Les Fruits du Rieu Neuf are specialists in cherries. On 22 acres they cultivate many varieties to offer a broad range at differect periods. The high calibre cherries are sold to wholesalers.
