A new wholesale market for fruit and vegetables has been set up on 40 hectares in Torino, Italy. More than 700 000 tons of fruit and vegetables have been forwarded through the CAAT (Centro agro alimentario Torino) during the first six months of the year and its target is to reach the 1 million tons soon.
