Live from MACFRUT 2018 (Rimini): The EU is a key partner for Colombia

 

 

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Juan Guillermo Zuluaga Cardona, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia, emphasized that agriculture can really be a driver of development for his country. "Our products, which are not just coffee and bananas, are exported to many countries around the world, and in the past year exports have increased by a double-digit rate and the European Union is an essential partner for us ".

 

 

 

Renzo Piraccini, president of Macfrut, added, "Colombia is the partner country and one of the leading fruit and vegetable producing countries in Latin America.The fruit and vegetable sector is growing strongly and requires technology, so it's also an important market for our exports and technologies. "
