Additional productions of organic oranges to meet the demands from abroad and solve the problem of lack of offer
The demand for organic oranges is not met.
The demand for organic oranges rose to rocket in recent years, especially in European markets, Germany and France in particular.
Cítricos del Andarax, the leading producer of organic oranges in Spain, sells 15,000 tons of organic oranges and exports 60% of production. The issue of demand exceeding supply can only be solved by new growers of organic fruit, growers who choose ecology. Other 20,000 tons should be found to meet the demands that don't diminish.
