A handbook in 10 points, for quality kiwis with characteristics adapted to the market needs.

Kiwifruit of Italy, the Consortium that brings together the main leading organisms in Italy, the production and the marketing of kiwifruit, has published "DECALOGO DELLA QUALITA" (Quality Handbook in 10 points).

The handbook was drafted by the Technical Committee of the Consortium and results of tests and research conducted in collaboration with third parties. It assesses the different farming techniques and their influence on the quality of kiwifruit (sugar content, dry matter content, storage capacity...). Quality and characteristics that must be adapted to better meet the needs and gain new market share.
 

New point of reference, the handbook aims to provide information tools to producers for optimal quality of kiwifruit. The document is freely downloadable from the website of the Consortium (kiwitaly.com).
