Spar is facing difficulties

ITM enterprises, the holding of "Le Groupement des Mousquetaires" including "Intermarché" and "Ecomarché" for instance, will give more than Euro 281 million to its German subsidiary, Spar. A process of change is in hand that will reduce the number of products sold and insist more on fresh produce. Ten to fifteen stores are currently being transformed and the management hopes this process will be achieved for all 130 selling points within the end of the year.
