Biocoop, the first network of food stores in France, plans additional stores in 2014 and could increase its network to 370 sales points by the end of the year.
Biocoop has confirmed its results in 2013 that had already been made ??public in February. Its turnover amounted to 580 million euros, for a total of 345 stores, or +8.2% over the previous year. The progression is constant and sustained for several years, Biocoop had made 535 million euros in 2012 and 500 million euros in 2011.
For 2014, Biocoop plans a similar growth rate, the goal is 650 million euros for 370 stores. The brand plans to invest € 4.5 million to equip its entire logistics fleet in trucks zero emissions of CO2 over the next 4 years.
