Winter farming suffers from water shortage

The community of Cartagena in Spain worries about water shortage consequences on winter farming and even plans an emergency state. Indeed, only the 14 hectometres of water felt at the end of the summer time won't be enough. Broccoli, artichokes and lettuce crops for instance require water in abundance, in particular when soil is as dry as it is by now.
