OCEANE celebrates its 20th anniversary this year

1993 – 2013: the vegetable cooperative OCEANE celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2013.  In its stand at Fruit Logistica, the public could make fun photos in an area of cartoons in cardboard.

In a mainly sandy region, the 64 OCEANE growers produce 70,000 tonnes of fresh vegetables (tomato, cucumber, lamb's lettuce, radish, leek, lettuce, strawberry). OCEANE is the only French producer of a variety of salad of the Roman family, sold in packs of 3 hearts of lettuce.

OCEANE was born in 1993 from the desire of producers in the region of Nantes to provide consumers with fruits and vegetables of the highest quality. To achieve this goal, they decided to join forces and develop a chain of flawless quality. Production (tomatoes, cucumber, lamb's lettuce, radish, leek) follows the natural rythms and the seasons, using techniques which respect the environment, and ensuring traceability and food security.
