Imagine 84 and the Fondation Banque Populaire Provençale et Corse celebrate partnership

Imagine 84 is a group comprising of 12 associations involved in the fight against exclusion and food aid.
Its site called "Les Jardins de la Méditerranée", which repackages fruits and vegetables to distribute to the beneficiaries of food aid, has to be selected among the finalists of Prix Fondation 2012.
In 2012, Imagine 84 helped 15 people reintegrate into the workplace. The volume of fruits and vegetables conditioned in 2012 hit a new record of no less than 1,000 tons thanks to the collection of 1,250 tons of fresh produce.
Harvested products are given by the producers, which they can deduct from their taxes. The employees of association benefit from professional training and help improve the supply of food to the most disadvantaged making it an intelligent approach to solidarity.
The foundation 'Banque Populaire Provence et Corse', represented by its Vice President, Mr Guy CORTASSE, M. Jean Pierre MIQUELIS, Director of the Banque Populaire network and M. Pierre BONNEFILLE, President of Imagine 84, wanted to celebrate their partnership creating the site, located at the MIN Avignon.
