Israel exports 80 000 tons of paprika to Europe

Israel estimates that at least 80 000 tons of paprika will be exported to european customers this year. The main exporters are : Agrexco, Edom UK and Arava Growers. Product Manager at Agrexco Mr. Yoram Sela said that Israel is in its mid-season and already 3 main exporters sent 50 000 tons of paprika - 40% through Agrexco. Arava growers informed that it's volume of export will be similar to 15 000 tons sent last year, while Edom UK will export 10 000 tons of both genetic and conventional paprika.
