Pears production in the Emilia Romagna region

 

The 2008 season forecast for italian pears not so hopeful.

 

The global production of pears in the  Emilia Romagna region is on average less 27 %  and less 50% relating to Conference variety.

 

This shortage of production is compensated by a high quality and good product size.

 

But we can notice a 20 % increase in price compared with last year production.
