VII Congreso Argentino de Citricultura in Puerto Iguazú

The citrus sector will get together for a congress in Puerto Iguazu from 15 to 17 May 2013.
Puerto Iguazú will welcome the VII Congreso Argentino de citricultura. The Congress will bring together technicians, producers and other operators of the sector for the largest technical and scientific gathering of the country.
On the program, many speakers will cover all aspects of production and in particular sustainable development. The last day will be devoted to field visits: mandarin plantations, plant of lemon juice, experimental plantations.
Puerto Iguazu is located in the province of Misiones, along the Rio Iguazú which marks the border with Brazil. The Province of Misiones has many small citrus producers who exploit 3,990 hectares of mandarines, 2800 hectares of oranges and 1257 hectares of lemons.
