CD
Chinese authorities have decided to set up a new Free Trade Zone in Shanghai: Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone in northeastern part of Pudong should be operational on 10 km², by 2015.
Professionals met on the I-Fresh Conference Shanghai 2013, have all estimated that this will boost even more the import / export trade in Shanghai. Market is already very dynamic.
Since 2005, import growth has reached an incredible growth of 30% per year according to Mr. YU Zhongyong, International Business Manager of Longwu Fruit and Vegetable Trading Market. There is little doubt that a part of the trade – Shangainese professionals do not hesitate to say “most of the trade” – will then be moved from Hong Kong and Guangzhou to Shanghai in the next years.
