New Chairman for Covent Garden Market Authority

Baroness Brenda Dean has been appointed chairman of the Covent Garden Market Authority, the body that manages New Covent Garden Market in London. Baroness Dean is currently a member of the authority and replaces Leif Mills who has served as chairman since 1998. She will take up the post on 1 April 2005.
