Slight increase in prices of apples

At the end of last week the prices of Polish apples intended for export slightly increased.

 

On Friday, 20th March in the area of Grójec the price of red varieties, 70+ in cardboard boxes was 0.90-1.00 PLN (0.19-0.21 euro)/kg.

 

The price of Golden Delicious was 1.80 PLN (0.39 euro)/kg.

 

So the increase in prices wasn’t big and it was also expected. The cost of apple storage in CA grows together with extending period of storage and it results in higher price of apples.
