If this campaign "Follow me to be fit with Europe" works with young people, sales of F & V should increase significantly.
In Europe, 1 in 5 adults is obese and by 2030 it is estimated that more than 50% of the European population will be obese. Only 14% of the European population eat 400g of Fruits & Vegetables per day. Freshfel has just launched the "Follow me to be healthy with Europe" campaign, which aims to encourage young Europeans to consume at least 400g of Fruits & Vegetables a day.
The "Follow me to be healthy with Europe" campaign launched by Fresfel Europe and co-funded by the European Union, aims to encourage young Europeans (18-30 years) to consume at least 400g of Fruits & Vegetables per day as recommended by WHO (World Health Organization). The campaign will last until the end of 2021 and will be relayed via the hashtag #400gChallenge.
Essentially digital, the campaign is based on different contents:
- A series of YouTube videos will follow 4 protagonists of this age group (a student, a couple and a young active) taking turns. Each month a new theme and challenge will be addressed.
- Infographics and tips will complete and deepen the information
- Publications on social networks, relayed by European influencers will ensure the dissemination of messages.
- A website will bring together all the content produced in 6 languages: French, English, German, Polish, Italian and Spanish,
- A presence on certain events (concerts, shows ...) will complete the campaign.
