MLK | AKIB Mediterranean Fresh Fruit & Veg Exporters' Association

Turkiye is participating for the 10th time in FRUIT LOGISTICA with a 696 m2 pavillon and 21 companies in Hall 1.1.

This is organised by Mediterrannean Union of Exporters

Turkey with a fruit and egetable production of 43 millions tons, is one of the main producers of Mediterranean countries.

Its exports reached 3 million of tons in 2012, for a total value of 2.1 millions US dollars. Citrus come first with 1,2 million tons exported. Then come fruits with 650,000 tons exported.

36% of produce are exported to Russian federations, Irak is the second market with 14% and then Germany with 9%.

Then come Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Saoudi Arabia ...

In 2012, the most exported product has been tomatoes for a total value of 405 millions US dollars.

Then comes citrus (except pomelo) and grapes.
