Alyssa Fruits announce the beggining of the new season

The Tunisian pomegranates season will start on September 15 in the region of Gabes (southern Tunisia) and from October 15 in the region of Testour (north). Tunisia has produced 74,000 tons of pomegranates in 2013 (6th largest producer in the world).
This year production forecasts are very good in terms of quality and quantity.
Alyssa Fruits will offer two varieties of Tunisian pomegranates: Jebali and Gabsi. Jebali pomegranates have from a medium to big caliber and have a bright red colour. Gabsi is a variety which has from a big to very big caliber, and have a very sweet taste and a pale red colour.
Alyssa Fruits exports quality Tunisia fresh fruits and vegetables (new potatoes, tomatoes, pumpkins, melons, pomegranates, grapes, plums and dates) to the main European markets, Africa and the Middle East.
