Times of uncertainty is never good for business and the consequences entrained by the "Brexit" are many and varied.
There is no precedent. Never has a country like the UK has left a union like the EU. The road is still long to undo the ties that took place for so many years.
The changes will affect all activities and particularly the Fruit & Vegetable sector with modifications on the free movement of people and goods, on investment, on trade agreements but also on technical standards. The UK will establish its own standards regarding food and plant safety or compliance of imported products.
In the UK, trade with the EU represented 44% of its trade. At the end of "Brexit" the UK will become a "third" countries such as Norway and Switzerland.
