Suspension of exports of tomatoes and sweet peppers towards Japan

Exports of Dutch tomatoes and sweet peppers towards Japan were
suspended following the discovery of two Mediterranean flies in the
area of Westland. The Netherlands, for which this sanction arrives
extremely fortunately at the end of the season, exported 3 783 tons of
sweet peppers in 2002.
