Peruvian grape enters the Japanese market

Peruvian grapes gain access to Japan, a market that represents export potential of $17 million for this fruit.

 

According to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Peru will be able to export 26 varieties of grapes to this new market of 125 million potential consumers.

 

In order for Peruvian grapes to enjoy duty-free access under the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (CPTPP), some 13 trade meetings were held between Peruvian exporters and Japanese importers.
