The bad weather hit the southern and central regions of Italy, frost, snow and low temperatures.
COLDIRETTI specifies that thousands of hectares of vegetables ready for harvesting have been damaged by frost, greenhouses are destroyed under the weight of snow. Direct damage would amount to tens of millions of euros, in product losses and damage the structures.
Produce of vegetables (artichokes, turnips, cauliflower, ...) are affected as well as, in the south of the country, citrus orchards and table grapes.
