Turkey wants to enter the Chinese market

Composed of many exporters of fruits and vegetables and the Chairman of the Management Board of the Unions of Exporters of fresh Fruits and Vegetables from Turkey, this delegation aimed to first understand the obstacles to the export of Turkish products in China and fees in order to see possible solutions with various Chinese officials.

They also visited the Wholesale Union of Chinese agricultural products as well as the food market in Xinfadi and invited the President of the Union to visit Turkey for analysing opportunities in Turkey .

In the implementation process of the protocol between Turkey and China for marketing Turkish products in China, they are also in contact with the Chinese Union Quarantine and control inputs and outputs to be able to participate in the fair of fresh produce, held in Beijing from 9 to 11 September 2015.

In particular, a solution to the obstacles preventing the export of cherries Turkey was discussed at length and the negotiations are expected to open this market first and then other fruits and vegetables such as citrus.

After the problems encountered this year with Russia, its main market, Turkey is determined to open new markets for its exporters and China is definitely a market of choice.
